Spices are aromatic substances derived from plants. While we have used the term Indian spices ,many of them are imported from other contries. How ever as they are common in Indian cuisine and ayurvedic medicines we have used the term. Spices are a must in Indian cuisine as while they provide flavor they also assist in digestion. Some of them are supposed to be cool and some hot. It can be root- Haldi, seeds -Black Pepper, Cinnamon -Bark or Cloves- Flower Buds.
